Big day on the farm: our new accessible bus arrived on February 27, 2026. It’s the larger vehicle in the pair supported by Charlottesville-Albemarle MPO TIP funding and FTA Section 5310—built for group travel to community outings, lunch runs, and reliable rides between home and Autism Sanctuary.
Safe, comfortable transport is everyday care for the adults we serve. This bus expands how many people we can take together and opens up more of Central Virginia without the stress of cobbled-together logistics.
This milestone follows CA-MPO’s approval of paratransit vehicle funding in October 2025 and the earlier arrival of our accessible minivan. Thank you to everyone who helped make the wheels turn—literally.
